In 2014, drummer Luca Caruso, saxophonist Sean Payne and bassist Freddie Jensen met at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Jazz program and have since been playing together regularly as a trio, as well as in multiple other musical situations. 

The band’s repertoire consists of original compositions written specifically for this unusual lineup, as well as standards arranged to suit the sound.
