THIS WEEK: WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

When a woman’s lover leaves, she tries to get in contact with him to find out why. She confronts his wife and son, who are as oblivious as she is. Meanwhile her girlfriend is knocking on her door for shelter, as she is worried the police are on her trail because of her boyfriend’s terrorist activities. They reach out to a female lawyer for help, who turns out to be the lover’s new lover, and everyone’s path keeps crossing each other’s in a spaghetti of mass confusion.

Not a wasted moment in this great Spanish black comedy, this is high octane entertainment from start to finish.
