When an old man is institutionalised in an insane asylum for claiming to be the real Santa Clause, a young lawyer steps up to defend him in court by claiming he’s the real deal. After deliberating many ironic and jokey choices for a christmas movie, I decided in the end to simply show a film in the old-fashioned spirit of christmas. Let us leave our cynicism at the door, shelter from the cold in our warm little Christmas-decorated cafe, and experience christmas like we used to! Edmund Gwenn shines in his obviously genuine portrayal of Kris Kringle in this cheerful, heart-warming christmas miracle. Arrive early for some christmassy treats!
