Eve Simpson, songwriter, storyteller, and collaborative community artist from South Shields, situates her Geordie lilts in the Celtic surroundings of Edinburgh. Supported by Youth Music and Help Musicians, Eve’s music has featured on BBC Scotland’s Track of the Week, BBC Introducing, BBC 6 Music, and received editorial support on Soundcloud’s Hot UK Pop. Eve gigs extensively throughout the UK, fresh from her ‘All Her Strange’ Spring Tour, she has featured at Edinburgh Hogmanay, Celtic Connections, Sofar Sounds, Sneaky Pete’s Central Belter’s, and collaborated with Beth Nielsen Chapman, Kathryn Tickell, and The Lake Poets, as well as scoring the North East segment of a FOCAL International award-winning film.

She will also have support from Alyx Bell. California-born, now London based Alyx Bell fuses jazz chords and soul grooves with folk melodies and emotive lyrics to create a unique sound. Inspired by singer-songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Lianne La Havas, and Cleo Sol, Alyx exerts her quiet strength through clever, thoughtful, and occasionally humorous lyrics.
