Wendy Lanchin’s background was in musical theatre and cabaret, before coming to jazz . She has sung in clubs and bars across London including Pizza Express, Hugo’s and The Vortex and hosted a monthly residency at the Jackdaw Jazz Club.

As well as jazz standards and blues, she has recently been adding folk to her repertoire.

Her first recording ‘Walking after Midnight’ reflects this eclectic mix and her preference for emotionally charged songs, that inspire reflection in the small hours.
