We all know that there’s something odd about life. But we never really discuss it. ‘The Great Everything & The Nothing’ explores the world of social engineering, laying out our problems as a species and giving clear solutions. Issues such as psychedelia, education, neurology, economics, ecology, politics and technology are all not only tackled by The Oomun Group, but are also presented as the forgotten interdependence that they are. The film is a painfully enlightening hit of a reality hidden from us by ourselves, showing phenomenal technologies, surreal parts of earth and some harrowing, as well as, comedic reflections on our current state here on planet earth. All delivered in true tragic comedic style as its content deflates us back down to the simplicity of the now, unnecessarily overcomplex manner that we perceive and live our lives… A must-see for any human being currently existing.

Brief Synopsis.

The film starts with a brief live-action sequence depicting a nice, working chap by the name of Joe, being barraged by the effects of the money system. From the everyday products we use, to bosses, beggars and bills.

We are then taken on a ride, as The Oomun Group navigate us around the globe outlining our current problems, and solutions, with a blend of stunning(and painfully grey)footage, poignant narration and clips from world-renowned artists such as Bob Marley, Ricky Gervais, Bill Hicks and Buckminster Fuller.

Sit back, and enjoy the ride.
