  • Location: Ruthless improvisations and hard-driving grooves
  • Venue: Kadawa

In a world where daily life revolves around a screen and a finger, KADAWA gives their audience an ‘offline’ experience worth lifting their heads for.
From ruthless improvisations and hard-driving grooves to intimate, harmonically-rich lullabies, the guitar-bass-drums trio explores a diverse set of original compositions – each serving its own unique, song-like storyline.
Their music confronts major existential issues including global warming, the increasing cost of living and the failing U.S. Health Care System, alongside the simple pleasures of life, such as movies they love to hate, emotional moving days and bizarre NYC experiences.

After leaving a lasting impression on audiences across Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Italy and Israel during their 2017 CD release tour, KADAWA makes its London debut, performing new music to be featured on their upcoming 2nd album alongside arrangements of pieces by the likes of David Bowie and Bjork.

“The sound is about joy and force in equal measure, full of hummable melodies and moments of proud combustion”
— Giovanni Russonello, ‘The New York Times’
